Two weeks ago I attended my favorite makeup event of the year, The Makeup Show. The Makeup Show is a pro only event where professionals can check out the latest in makeup trends, products and attend seminars by top artists in the makeup industry. I am not a professional, but I attended as a guest of my mother who is a licensed cosmetologist.
The doors to the show opened at 9:00am on Sunday and when we arrived at 9:15am the line was already around the building. There had to have been 100 people already in line. The location of the show this year seemed a lot smaller than the previous location or maybe there were just more people. Once inside, I hit up the brands on my list. Unfortunately and fortunately, I didn’t buy as much as in the past, but I still spent around $130-150 which is pretty good for me.
So without further ado, here are the items I purchased from The Makeup Show – Chicago!
Crown Brush – Angle Brush
Mehron Face Smoothie. Their version of the beauty blender. This is my second one and I love it! (As you can tell I’ve already started using it.)
