A Fun and Flirty Look

Really great makeup days have been few and far between for me lately. I’m always in a rush and usually do my makeup in the car, so I don’t have enough time to get a good face. Well this weekend that was not the case. I attended a wedding with a friend, so I had ample time to complete my face. The look I was going for was fresh and flirty. I even decided to switch up my usual red lipstick for a pink. My finished look took about 30 minutes because I really took the time to make she everything was concealed. Here’s the finished look with a list of the products I used.

* Yes, I take car pics with my phone. Yes my hair is all over the place due to the air blowing. I was having a Beyoncé moment*

Products In order of use:

NARS Radiant Cream Foundation in Med/Dark 4 Macao

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Med/Dark 3 Amande

Make Up For Ever Pro Finish Powder in #174

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Dark (applied around my hairline, chin and under the apples of my cheeks)

MAC Blush in Love Joy on my

MAC Blush in Warm Soul

NARS Albatross highlighter on the bridge of my nose and cheeks

Finished with Urban Decay black eyeliner and MAC Extreme Dimension Mascara

To get the lipstick color, I mixed MAC’s Up the Amp and Candy Yum Yum

Here’s another wedding pic from back in June. The only difference is I used Make Up For Ever’s HD Foundation in #173 and #177

  1. Both foundations look very natural. Which do you love the best between the NARS and the MUFE? Also what is the lip color in the last photo? Since we are pretty much the same color, a nude lip color that fits you will also fit me.

    • Thanks for the comment. Between the two Foundations, I would say the NARS is my favorite. For some reason the MUFE liquid hasn’t been working that great for me lately. Plus, the NARS gives me a more natural finish.

The nude lip color is Sable Smoke by Tom Ford. If you check back later in the week, you’ll see a post about my new nude lipstick from Maybelline’s “the Buffs” collection.

      Thanks for reading!
