In November 2013, it was announced that Rihanna would be the new spokesperson for M.A.C. Cosmetics Viva Glam lipstick. Rihanna follows in the footsteps of other celebrities who have been spokespeople for the M.A.C. AIDS Fund such as Sir Elton John, Boy George, Mary J. Blige, Lil Kim, Christina Aguilera, Missy Elliott, Eve, Lady Gaga, and Nicki Minaj. Proceeds from the Viva Glam sales go The Rihanna Viva Glam lipstick and lipglass will be released online beginning January 21st!
The M∙A∙C AIDS Fund is supported exclusively by a consumer based model that directs 100 percent of the purchase price of Viva Glam Lipstick and Lipglass to the Fund. M·A·C Cosmetics underwrites all of the production costs of the Viva Glam line, donating the full sale price to the Fund, including would-be profits for retail partners.
